Cinderella Presents; This Week In Hair, Week Ending 9th October 2015
It’s Fri-Yay and over the course of the week, I have been exploring far & wide, in search of my favorite new hair styles, hot new hair trends & ball ready hair.
This week the nights have become longer, the days have become shorter and everything feels slightly darker.
The long, dark, winter nights that are slowly rising upon us, is reflecting my mood, causing me to have a moment of darkness, so this week I thought I would share my favourite, dark styles.
With my Fairy Godmother’s at hand, we have seeked exciting looks, compelling changes & trends we think will dominate.
I cordially invite you to seek inspiration from our carefully curated, hand picked favorites from week ending 9th October 2015.

PFW – Cinderella’s Style of Choice
This series of weekly instalments of Fashion Weeks as well all know have been for SS16, which traditionally means bold, bright, beautiful colours.
But I mentioned how I am currently experiencing a moment of darkness, and it seems I am not alone.
This week I have decided not to write about my favourite hairdo from Paris Fashion, but a hairstyle that really caught my eye.
Ironically the style has come from a Fashion House that was born in Paris but later moved to Rome and seems to be sharing my moment of darkness.
If you have already guessed – Kudos to you!
For those of you who haven’t, it is none other than Valentino.
The Tribal Tresses
Tribal Tresses, the perfect name to suite this unique, extravagant style.
Comprising of cornrows & a Medusa-like bun the Tribal style isn’t something I would necessarily appoint of my style of choice, especially from a prestige event like Paris Fashion Week.
You might now be wondering why I have chosen this look and the answer is simple.
The Valentino runway models executed the “tribal Africa” look perfectly, breaking an ethnical barrier through the means of fashion & hair, displaying diversity and showcasing it on a big stage!
This look may not be ball ready hair, but it certainly is something that speaks to everyone
Flashback Friday With Megan Fox
This week my chosen celebrity hair icon is causing me to have a flash black, with her once jet black main, Megan Fox holds the key to the perfect minimalistic hair hue.
I personally don’t think any one pulls off the one shade palette better than the raven-haired A-List actress, Megan Fox.
My Moment of Darkness
This week I have opened my black magic spell book and I think it is safe to say it has been rather dark.
But as we are coming to that time of the year, could it have been a more appropriate topic to discuss?
My Fairy Godmother’s & myself will be back next week to discuss exciting looks, compelling changes & trends we think will dominate.
Have a magical weekend!
Cinderella X
